Odemo
THE ODÉMỌ OF ISARA-REMO STOOL
Isara-Remo is one of the most historically important towns in Remoland. The traditional ruler of the town bears the title Odémọ̀ of Isara-Remo. The title originated from Prince Adeyemo, an Ile-Ife prince whose title “Ode-Omo” later evolved into “Odemo.”
According to Isara oral tradition, Prince Adeyemo migrated from Ile-Ife and settled in the present location of Isara after finding the area suitable for settlement and defense.
Because he was of royal descent, he became the ruler of the settlement and adopted the title Ode-Omo, which gradually became Odemo. The title has remained the official royal title of all kings of Isara till today. The royal crowns and symbols of authority are traditionally linked to Ile-Ife

Succession System Of The Odemo Stool
The Odemo stool is governed by:
- Rotational succession among ruling houses.
- Selection and Presentation by tthe eligible ruling house based Ruling House chosen method either by Ifa Oracle Consultation, Voting or Appointment by the Olori Ebi.
- Acceptance and Prepping i by kingmakers.
- Traditional consultations at Ipebi
- Presentation to the Local Government by the Kingmakers,
- Approval by the Government of Ogun State.
- Installation and presentation of Staff of Office.
This rotational structure has helped preserve stability and representation among the six royal families of Isara.
